Post the distance from your hometown to Great Lakes - Let's see who has to travel the furthest to 12/17 PIR!  From my hometown in Michigan its 329.4 miles or 5 hours and 53 minutes in good weather.  I'm driving!

If you were driving, which I'm sure your not:)
16 hours 17 minutes and 992.70 miles from North Carolina. We will be flying there.
To add to the fun; prizes will be awarded to closest, furthest and the one smack dab in the middle - so play along. It will be interesting to see the miles total of all traveling family and friends to PIR 12/17/10!
That's cool idea, Lori

Betsy.
Awesome idea! Maybe we can give them a laminated button and make their husbands wear them :) JK it is a good idea :) Susan
Susan - you nut! Lori
Our travel distance is 570.49 miles with a drive time of 9 hrs 19 min. Not too bad, as long as our daughters (15 & 13) are in good moods!! Actually, they're not the problem. It's the grumpy hubby. HaHa!!
Haha, I can relate to both. Good luck

Betsy
Does it make a difference if you are flying or driving? My son-in-law will be making the trip twice! Driving straight both times. From Texas. He's a Honey.

Yahoo says it is 974.1 miles from my house to 60088 and 15 hours and 39 minutes. He says it won't take nearly that long.
Also California, with 2056.65 miles to travel.
I would guess that you are flying. lol

Betsy
Yes, we are flying in on thurs, praying for good weather.

Maria
