Cat, I guess it's just us so far. Still no form letter, but I got the info about the "probable" grad dates in Nov. Boot Camp group here on N4M. I joined the 1-21-11 PIR group, too. Glad there are so many people are willing to help us!
I did not recieve any info either. Glad your here. I am no a patient person so all of this is killing me. I hope we find out soon. Maybe it will come in today's mail. Keep me posted
Just got the letter today! I'm surprised it took so long, but at least it's here! Yes, our official PIR is on Jan. 21st. I want to make our reservations, but have read lots of bad comments about the Ramada that everyone is talking about. Do you know anything about the Navy Lodge? Hope you got your letter today, too! Our son sounded pretty good in the few lines he had at the bottom! Said he was bored and I should send letters, and pictures! I'm glad I already did! Hope they start getting mail soon!
nascarnov, I recieved my letter yesterday as well. I was so happy to get two sentences and the frist was Ma, I love you and I am fine so far. The tears started flowing...

I was thinking the Navy Lodge as well however I dont drive so I would have to take a taxi everywhere. Knowing the Ramada has a restaurant and meet and greet, then I only have to worry about getting back and forth to the base so I think I will probably stay there.

Let me know what you do I would love to meet up with others in the same division
Cat-I left you a note on the PIR 1-21 group. I made reservations for the Ramada, in the remodeled section. I'm glad we have another member in our discussion group! Peanutsmom. Hopefully more will be joining us now that we all have our "fom letters." Did you see the discussion about the meet and greet for all PIR families, and the one for N4M's at the Ramada? Check the event tag on the group site.
nascarnov, thanks for the info. I will be booking the Ramada by the end of week. Looking forward to PIR and meeting everyone. I will let you know once I have everything set. HOpefully we get a letter this week. Fingers crossed!
just found out that my daughters boyfriend is in this division. So excited to get alittle info from him. Even more excited to be able to right him. I am just the girlfriends mom but really miss him and hope all is well w/ their division.
Bradsfanclub,

Thanks for sending me a message. I just pm'd you back. Glad to find more of us with the same Div. It's comforting to know that our loved ones are all together and we could share each step of the way. Tell you daughter to join in. Best to you and yours
Hello everyone. My daughter is on ship 07 div 051. She graduates on January 21st. I got the form letter on Friday. I cant wait to go see her graduate. I miss her soooo much. I have written her so many letters. I am here to chat if anyone is interested. thanks

Gayle
hi peanutsmom... welcome.. I have found that this is a wonderful outlet to being sad. It's much easier to go threw this together.. Even in times where it feels like we are lost, a nice note from someone that is going threw it, makes it "a Little" easier. I unfortuntly can't be at graduation cause I am the girlfriend's mom and will be out of town but I love this kid like he is my own and will be very excited to see all the pictures and videos of the wonderful day.. And to get that call from him when he is done... Take care and always looking for someone to talk to!
WOOO HOOO Peanutsmom, so glad you recieved the form letter. Keep writing those letters. I am sending you a friend request. I love that we are finding so many in our ship and div.
Hi peanutsmom, it is nice to know others that are going thru the same thing and we all can help each other. My son is ship 07 div 051 too. If you'll notice my son is in the picture with bradsfanclub, that is because that is his girlfriends mom, like I said we are all in this together! :) also I was reading up on some PIR information and where to stay, I've read stay in Libertyville or Gurnee not Waukegn. I'll send a friend request so we can stay in touch.
