Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 041 and 042

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I would think since he arrived on the 21st and is in DIV 041 that he would be one of them. That would be so neat! We're from Mississippi. Where is your SR going to A school?

Mine was one of those 8!  I hope they bonded also.  We are from Alabama.  My will be going to A school at Great Lakes!

I can't wait to hear. My son will be going to A school in Wichita Falls, Texas.

My son was one of those 8!  We are from Alabama, we moved from California 5 years ago. So I know my boy isn't liking the cold weather!!  But he sure sounded good.  Hoping that they are making some good friendship bonds!!

I haven't heard of them either.
That is awesome, mleelbg! I'll be writing my SR tonight I'll have to let him know that I've "met" you. :) I'll add you as a friend so we can stay in touch!

His name is Blake and he is from Alabama, when you talk to your son!  I will tell my son to!  Your from Mississippi, right?  Glad we me t too!  We can actually meet at graduation!

Just to let you all know, I finally got a call from my SR tonight. Conformation that he is one of the "super8". He was a little blown away that I had heard of that group. It sounds like he and his division are doing much better. Counting down the days until PIR!!!!

I missed this post before! I hate that you don't get an alert to tell you when you have a reply to a post. I don't have time to sit and read the whole board every night. We should start a facebook page or something.

Anyway that is SO cool! So that makes 3 of us so far that are confirmed Super8 Moms...lol.

my son's letter said he'd call on Saturday... he hasn't called.  I'm thinking he just never got a chance but... did anyone else from 042 get a call today?

No call either but I didn't really expect one. Just really had hoped to talk with my sr as today is his 18th birthday. It's been a difficult day for momma :'(

I know - many tears myself today.  Happy Birthday to him!  I'm not looking forward to the holidays without him.  I've sent two girls off to college.  This is different... harder.
