My recruiter today gave me a ship 7 address for Indiana Street. That doesn't match! Help! Someone more experienced. And does anyone know if certain sailors go to certain ships?
My address was like that too! I am ship 3 but the recruiter gave me the street name of ship 11. I am waiting to send my letters before I send any just in case. My recruiter told me to go ahead and send them cause as long as they have the DIV number on there.. it will go to them... might take a day longer but it will get to them.
I sent one today. The addy didn't match any ships, so maybe the recruiter couldn't find the specific address and just used a central one? I suppose I could google the address?
My son's recruiter gave me the correct address for ship 03 USS Hopper, but he say that the PIR date was not updated as of yet. I am going with the date of 12/22 that my called in to me Sunday. I did a little research on the USS Hopper it appears to be the second ship named after a female and in it's case, it was named after "Amazing" Grace Hopper. Kim
