HAPPY VETERAN"S DAY TO YOU ALL

ladies, I saw on here where someone asked about their day today. One of the moms on our group, PIR 12/17 said that her daughter called her yesterday and she said that they have 4 hours of time to do their ironing and shining their shoes, so they have a little break today.

I know I am harping..but for your recruits own good...please take your recruits first and or last name out of your screen name and do not use their picture in your screen picture. RDCs ( and we certainly do love them) can and do read these sites and your recruits would prefer they do not know them by name or face...they would prefer to fly under the radar...so let's help them out...this also helps prepare you for when your recruit become a sailor and you have to follow much higher levels of security and OPSEC rules...thanks folks

Good morning ctownnavymom, I don't think that today is a holiday for our recruits. If anything, I think today would be challenging for them as they will probably be reminded all day today about the brave souls who paved the way for them. But I could be wrong! I have not heard anything as of yet about sickness and hope our recruits are all doing well.

SRAshley...hey I know that feeling...some were getting phone calls and I was like whaaaat...because I wasn't..however...one earned a call for good stenciling...that clearly put my son out of that game...lol...and many calls were for additional info for security checks...trust me when the whole division gets a call you will know it...because this room will light up like fire...lol!! Also divisions do arrive at different times and RDCs are different and allow calls in different ways. My son's division got 3 calls total...some got way more, and one division got less because they were always in trouble....good lord if you don't think their mommas, wives, g/f's etc. were in crisis...lol They would send home letters saying we're getting a call...they would all wait...no call, next letter...we lost our call...oh my....so just hang in there...and know that no news is good news and the calls will come when they come...I know not what you wanted to hear...

Hi everyone. Happy Veterans' Day! I was catching up on some posts and I wanted to let you know that we booked a room at the Ramada...hope it's not too run down, but thought the pool and hot tub sounded nice. I was wondering if this is considered a holiday for our recruits or if it is business as usual. Anyone know? I thought if it was a holiday, maybe we might get calls. Has anyone heard about sickness yet? I thought I heard a few things from some other groups. Penny

Maggie (Ship 03 Div 027)

My son called last Saturday morning. My phone was working properly so I didn't get to talk to him. He did leave two voice messages. His recruiter said this was good. Means he is in a good division. I haven' received any letters from him.
