i got my "form letter" today too. the first thing he said was I love you so much and i miss you. he said these first few days in NRTC is hard already. so much skills bein taught and so much marching! he told me to tell his parents that he loves em and he's okay. he also told me to send him picture (of course he had to insert a lil humor, he said it has to be PG-13. LOL) to keep his self well being. lol! hope to meet everyone here! :)

Oh Elizabeth hang in there. I know how you feel! I actually had a melt down at school today...luckily it was after the kids left. I am not one who usually loses control or gets "crazy" over things, but this sudden total loss of control over my son has made me this person I don't even recognize!!!!! I start cying in the grocery store for Heaven's sake! Who is that woman???? But then today, getting that letter and hearing his humor...I am so filled with pride!

My husband wrote this on his form letter: I love you. This is the first I get to write you. I could not talk lastnight long but I should in a few weeks. Also, don't worry about the guest list, it is not final. Im doing ok. I did not get a division with anyone from Nashville meps, but I'll be just fine. I love you so much and miss you already. It's only two months, we will make it. Hug and kiss Alex and Ziggy for me. Much Love, Jonathon

Elizabeth I am pretty sure you are going to be with us. You are next numerically. We can't have a graduation without flag girls/boys and a band!

Yay! Got my "Form Letter" today!!!! He actually sounded good! Said he is "doing great!" Sent his love and wants everyone to know that he is thinking of them. Wished me a Happy Halloween and said he is expecting the letter writing to begin now! :) Little does he know I've been writing every single day since he left! :) I still wish we knew if they could leave on the 22nd and can they drive home with us?
