Hey Mary...I just turned my sound on my computer, thank you for adding the music, I think I might listen to the Village People over and over...it makes me smile. Can you do me a favor and add "Eye of the Tiger" (I don't know how to add or if I can)don't know the artist, it reminds me of my son he would sing it to me......would love it.

for those of you who will be flying to PIR I have a little tip for you. You can buy travel insurance on your airfare. My sailor (daughter) was going to her husbands PIR last week. When his sister passed away from injuries she got in a car crash he came home right after battle stations to be with his family and did not get to participate in PIR. The airline did not charge my daughter a cancellation fee and she is going to receive a full refund for the price of her airfare. This travel insurance only cost her $30.00 on a $240.00 round-trip ticket. It was much cheaper than refundable tickets and it works for many different reasons that your travel plans could be canceled. I hope this helps :-)

Mary, I'll take 12/22 in any flavor. Or at least to know what date would be real nice.

I have had a couple of messages from members wanting info about the ribbons I make so I thought I would share it here in case anyone else has any questions. The ribbons are usually Navy Blue in color and are about 5 to 6 inches tall depending on the name on them. They have the sailors first or last name on the left and the div number on the right, both in bright glitter letters either gold or silver. They have an anchor at the top and if you sailor is in band or choir they have a music note on them. They have a pin on the back so you can pin it to your shirt or coat and are not too frilly so they are suitable for men or women. They are a great way to show support for your sailor and make a great keepsake. The ribbons are $5.00 each and are each handmade by me. If anyone has any questions please send me a friend request. Thanks, so much. I know you all must be very excited to see your sailor. The time will pass much quicker than you ever thought was possible. :-) Pics are on page 17 right now (3 pages from the last page)

I just find no point in making a meal when I have an empty house so everyone come over for dinner..lol. Jon always cooks with me..I could never kick him out of my kitchen and now I want him in my kitchen!
