jon'smom, hang in there, You are doing great! You made it through another day. Once we receive letters from our sons/husbands/daughters, I think it will get better, then we will rush home daily to attack the mailman/box. I am so very proud of our children/spouses for taking this journey and it makes the smelly clothes coming home a wonderful sight and smell. Kim

I had this huge long day yesterday working until 11:15 p.m. writing election coverage. Then I came home to a dog in heat, a sore throat and the realization my son wouldn't be slamming the door on his way in any time soon. Couldn't sleep until almost 4:30 a.m. and woke up to the younger two fighting. Then what I missed was Jon yelling at the girls to stop yelling! Thanks for being here ladies. It's nice to know someone else is feeling what I am.

Our box was just pitched on the porch. Funny thing, those dirty socks don't smell or look any better after a ride on the FedEx truck than they do when you pick them up off their bedroom floors. I just didn't complain as much this time when I had to unball them for the laundry.

Nancy.. grats on your box! Mine came FEDEX and I had to sign for it.. Did everyone here have to sign for their box also?

I wish I could hear my husbands voice.. I am going to have him sit down and make a ring tone when I see him next with his voice so I can hear him when I want or when my phone rings...

Mary-how did she get a letter so fast? or did she get a phone call?
Comment by NC_Susan on November 2, 2010 at 10:06pm
NavyWave - Others have had wrong addresses given to them by their recruiter. Once you get your official letter it will have the correct address on it. You might want to wait for that before you mail anything. Congrats on getting the box :) It's another step closer to BC being over and us seeing our loved ones at PIR:) Susan
