Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So noone has heard from ship 12 div 29 yet? 29 and 30 are brother divisions so when one starts getting calls, the other should too. Congrats to those of you getting the calls! Something woke me up with a start at 2:30 am eastern time! I was terrified...had a very scary feeling and a pain...(not heart attack :) ) I have a firm belief that moms are always connected to their kids and I laid there praying everything was ok with N. Just want to hear his voice!
Leaving upstate NY at midnight...will be looking for the lunar eclipse!

Weeeeee! I got my call! & as always, it's while i'm in the shower, lol. My S said that everyone in division 032 passed. Also that he can't wait to sleep, but unfortunately has watch tonight for 2hrs.
First thing he wants to do when I pick him up from the airport is eat at Pappadeaux or get Chinese food. And of course he wants to sleep in a real bed.
Congratulations to all of our new sailors & good luck to everyone else who's yet to do BS21. <3

he sounds soo tired, its only for 10 mins. but the excruciating wait is OVER!!
