Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Betsy...thank you for the support! :) Getting excited and a little overwhelmed! BS is tomorrow night and we have our candlelight service at church...I'm afraid I might get a little emotional. We are leaving at Midnight on Monday. Praying for good weather for all of us! Trying to make sure I have all of my Christmas stuff done...still need to pack, make sub plans for three days (I'm a teacher) and get my grades in before Monday! ...breathe!!!!

It is all going to be worth it when that door opens on Wednesday and our sailors walk through that door!

We started out very close and we would like to continue our communication. I know that you all will be spreading out into your A school groups now, but please join us in our alumni group. We really would love to keep our friendships .

The hall is very comfortable so don't feel like you have to dress too warm. They sell waters and coffee and light snacks if you arrive early like I did - in line at 6:00A and in the hall by 6:40A! Entrance went smoothly. Bathrooms are close by. Enjoy the phone calls and your PIR on Weds. Witnessing the transformation from civilian to Navy Sailor is beyond words - Prideful and Emotional - are the two that come to mind. Thinking of each of you!
