For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks Donna...I thought it was Sunday too, but when I saw that 28 already went, I thought that maybe 29 was going last night...hmmm... oh well...I just can't wait to get the call. I teach so it is going to be interesting to get my call. We are leaving Monday night...so we may even be packing the car when we get the call!!!!!

ctownnavymom-I got a letter from my daughter yesterday, she said they are doing captains cup today and BS Sunday night, so we should get our calls Monday. This is gooing to be a loooonng weekend if you know what I mean lol.

Gotta work today and tomorrow then it's four days off! Can't wait to see my Sailor!!!! I will try to be at the M&G but don't know if I will make it in time.
OMG! I just got on after two days because had to take my dad to er...got home at 2 am and worked all day until 10:30 tonight! Wow! we are really in Battle Station Mode! CONGRATS to all new sailors and sailor moms! Has ANYONE heard from 29? Is it possible they are going tonight?????? Oh my gosh!

well ladies,I just got home from work but I got my call today too while I was at work.He said it was a great feeling and many more men cried than the girls.
