I got to talk to my son today. He was not feeling the best but he is officially a sailor. I am so proud of him. He was ready for bed and could not wait for 8pm to be able to sleep. He will leave for Pensacola the same day as PIR. I hope so much that I get to go see him soon. We will not be able to attend grad. God bless you all and this site has certainly been a God send for this journey. Sacred our sons are together. I appreciate you so much for helping make that connection for him.

So I was gathering the items J asked me to bring. And one of those.. was.. LOTS OF Q-TIPS!  He said he hasn't been able to clean his ears since he got there. So.. if your Sailor is a clean freak like my hubby.. take him/her some Q-tips!
