Hey, Mary,
If youguys like pizza, Giordano's is the famous place to eat in Chicago. We rode the train from Waukegan, and walked to Giordano's from the train station. The pizza is about 2 inches thick and the sauce is the last thing they put on top. Lots of meat, and the crust is kind of like a homemade pie crust; different, but delicious. We took some really good pictures with our sailor in front of the street sign.
LOL now that I know J wants to stay the night in Chicago... he wants me to find something fun to do or somewhere "Chicago Style" to eat.. any pointers?
Congratulations to DIV 25 and 26 you did it!!! You can now rest and keep praying for us.
Mary.....I'm so happy for you.
sacred's mom.....you make my day. I laugh with my husband for a couple of minutes. Don't get offense in a good way. Now I'm thinking what I'm going to say and I don't find anything else except your favorite line "i'm so proud of you". Oh boy, let see!! From the bottom of my heart congratulations for you and your husband!!! By the way, what your husband said!!!!
I had thought about the call but Im afraid all I will do is cry when I hear her on the phone. I started to cry when I seen you all getting your calls.
WOOT grats to Div 25 AND 26 for Battlestations! Our boys/girls are SAILORS! I am sooo excited! This is the call we have been waiting for!
Yes it is, I thought we would get the call tomorrow and was afraid to answer the phone when I recognized the area code. All I could think of to say to my son was that "i'm so proud of you", of all the corny lines in the world a mother could say, that was the one......................... He did say that he was tired and hungry...... and of course, all I could say was "I'm so proud of you". So don't be dumb like me, practice what you intend to say before you get the call.
I know this waiting thing is for the birds
Thank you Walker12003, your call is coming soon!
Congrats to all that have completed so far.
