Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

...sorry ladies i'm not sending anymore Ribbons, because graduation is around the corner, the Postal Service is very busy and I don't want anybody to be disappointed but i'll be at the Ramada for Meet and Greet, I'll bring some...:D

BTW ...why do we need a lint brush for grad?

Comment by Gabby on December 15, 2010 at 5:31pm

does anyone have or remember the items to bring, IE a tide pen, lint brush etc?

I forgot to copy it down at the time and now I cant find it.

What does P.R.T. stand for?

If I get any call regarding finishing Battle Stations, I will post it.

Me either =( . I have always gotten them on Wednesdays, but no letter today.

I haven't gotten a letter for this week yet :(

G'sproudmom Okay I need to remember your son is on Ship 2 Div 906.  So they do BS next Monday? As I said, my son is not a flood of information.  We just get " you know, Navy stuff"  when we ask.

Comment by diannep on December 15, 2010 at 3:56pm

Rose, don't worry....please consider no news to be good news!  We are only trying to determine BattleStations dates so that you all can pray for your recruits that night and expect your calls the next day.  Sometimes we are successful in getting a schedule, sometimes not...so just praying all nights for the recruits going through BattleStations works and keep your cell phones handy all of the time!

Comment by Rose7..Norfolk on December 15, 2010 at 3:35pm

I don't know what to said,  just that all this about BS is driving me crazy!!!  No letter, is like they have all them in silent, I get so desperate for moments.  I'm just waiting for the mailmain to see if I get a letter. About running when I talk to my son I remember he told me when they do the 1st and 2nd he pass, so I don't want to worry about that.  He also mention that he have 12 minutes to do the running.
