Lynne: You are too funny...of COURSE you "graciously" forgave the person who forgot to call! Yep, you sure did! uh HUH! :-)
PROUDMOM: It is possible that gate passes will be up tomorrow. I just google "upcoming navy graduations", click on Recruit Training Command-Upcoming Graduations, and it takes me right to the page with the PIR dates and gate pass prompt. I have seen the option for the gate pass posted late morning and sometimes not until the afternoon. So just keep checking during the day. It is supposed to be up 11 days prior to PIR, but for Fri PIR dates, it is usually up by Monday the previous week. Since you all are a Wed date, I have a feeling it will be up tomorrow. If not, for sure on Tuesday.
Worry Wart: NO worries from Lynne or me at all! We are all on here to help one another...and sometimes words can be misunderstood....no offense taken at all because I figured that you didn't mean anything but I just wanted to clarify. We are thankful that you are asking questions so we can post info for you! We are both veteran moms...and so enjoy helping you all. So ask away! Moving forward!
NEXT WEEK LADIES AND GENTS! I am soooo excited!!!!!!! =)
This is what we woke up to this morning here in Western NC, 6 inches of snow. We rarely ever see snow before January. Our average snowfall for one season is 6 inches for the whole winter. Last winter we had 42inches in Brevard and it looks like this year is going to be the same. Please travel safely to PIR.
Thank you. We are so excited. His dad is bouncing off the walls. He is driving me crazy. I will be that way once we start traveling then I will drive him nuts. lol Time seemed to go by so slowly when he first left no it seems to be flying by.
Gee thanks...I think gracious might be overstepping a little...as I recall the moms in my group rallied behind me and we discussed having a "tea party" out behind the wood shed at the RTC with the RDC...just a for a chat you know...lol...but all is well that ends well...but it is true...I did not think it was one bit funny....
Thanks Jessica. I really appreciate all the information. :)
just got confirmation via e mail for my sons flight to A school. He made all his arrangements from Basic so I guess they (RDC) emailed the info for him. Only 10 days left!!!!YAY!
proudmom.......Lately they been updating the side to get the passes Tuesday, so my best guess is Tuesday.
