Terry, I got the same phone call a few minutes ago, he said it was regarding his travel itinerary and said if they did not receive it by Wednesday, he would not be allowed to come home. Went into my email, sent file and read off the scheduling email address to my son and the date and time that I emailed it. Also told him that I mailed hard copies directly to him Friday. I told him that I would look for the fax number and fax it first thing in the morning. He also sounded down and out. But did tell me that he passed all of his PT and Next Tuesday would be taking his academic test. He was in the office when he called because he referred to the Master Chief as he was confirming the email address that I emailed his itinerary to. It was strange because the call came in from the Command Station and not a pay phone from his calling card. I asked him if he was ok, and he said yes, ma, they just need my itinerary. He did say that he did not get a letter from me Friday. I told him that I have written to him every day without fail including the day I took him to MEPS. He said I know mom, I'm okay. My heart sank because I felt there was something wrong but he was not at liberty to share it with me. I do hope that all is well.

Rose, you are absolutely correct. The words of wisdom that you gave to Mary were awesome and very much needed. We are at count down. I have been on line all morning looking at various groups and found some groups who mails packages, sew blankets and pillow cases and it is just wonderful. That will be my new project for the new year. I just emailed my daughter for help. I live Virginia, and our state is home to the largest Navy fleet with two VA Hospitals. So off tomorrow to see my son's recruiter to find out how to get started and a contact person. As a Navy mom, I feel I have to do my share for our soldiers on ship and land.

Mary.....I'm glad for J, you and your family. I understand that he wants to do the ceremony like he said it happen once. Everything is going to be ok, God have the control and nothing happen with out a reason, a lot of time we don't see it or understand but then we look back and see why it happen. Soooo... we will see you there!

sacred's mom......I really think the RDC are doing this to make them work as a Team.. He was upset but I also remember he mention in one his letter that things are getting better, so at this point (the end) I'm sure that they just doing this just for the good of the division.

SO..............17 MORE DAYS UNTIL GRADUATION!!!! YUPI !!!!

Ok so J's father made it through surgery just fine. He is resting well and doing good.

Everyone who was going to graduation from both sides have backed out for one reason or another and J wants to do the graduation ceremony. Since his father is stable and ok he wants to do the ceremony cause he will only get to do it once so instead of driving I will by flying up there, but I am going! J wanted to do the ceremony and he was concerned no one was going to be there.. and now I am glad that he doesn't have that concern anymore! It's been a tough few days but everything has worked itself out and will continue to... Thank you all for the support and prayers that you have given his family and us through out this.

I have found out that 2 recruits are leaving next week, so I guess we are fortunate that we are not getting any calls. One recruit is leaving because of medical and the other family didn't give a reason their recruit so close to PIR. I think they are really focusing on passing BS and unless their division is totally awesome, we wont get a phone call until they pass BS. I'm trying to be upbeat about the absence of hearing from my son. Rose, they have to come together for BS or some will not pass, it is my understanding that BS while graduated separately for each individual, is based primarily on the divisions' ability to work together as a team to overcome any situation that could occur while on the ship.

Nina.....that basically what he said, he is worry because the division don't get together. He was a little upset because he's been doing what they suppose to do and it look like somebody always do the opposite. He pass all his text so far. They have the fitness one more time, gas chamber and BS. All I can said is do your best!!! He have some friend, the majority are going to do the same as him. He is going to be in submarines, they going to Groton, happy for him.

Mary....I know is not easy what you going through. I agree with your mom on that about if your father in law is doing after the surgery ok and the nurses can help him.....I will said yes your husband need you there, is both of you future. I have my parent alive thank God, but at the same time (even the bible back it up) saying when you married, now that is your family. That doesn't mean your going to forget your mom, dad, etc but now you have to do what is best for your family (husband, step, etc). I hope you understand what I mean, I don't want to sound heartless. Keep you in my prayers.

Jessica,
My son called last night and he has not opened a new account. He had the bank fill out all of the deposit information when he set up the direct deposit. I'm thinking they must of done something wrong. He said he hasn't gotten notification of anything being wrong. I told him he had to work it out on his end.

Mary,
I'll be praying for you and your family. I pray the surgery goes well.

Mary, glad to hear that your mother is there for you! We will continue to pray for you, J and J's father.
