OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I forgot to mention earlier, but my son said in his call home that his group was being filmed during battle stations and he will be featured on the Discovery Channel.

I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one that's a nervous wreck!! The last letter we got from Jordan was dated Dec 8th---He's DIV 038 and he also sounded stressed--but hanging tough--I am not used to little to no info on whats going on--I have no idea if he got his flight info or not!!! I am saying prayers all the time that these guys and girls will all pass---they deserve to for all of their sacrfices and determination!! Lets all keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers---
