Hi all! My son just called my Mom (grandma) didn't know he was going to make a call today and didn't have his calling card and she's the only one at home to recv a collect call! Anyway - says all is great, just has BS tonight to get through! He said it was soooo cold yesterday that they were not allowed outside but that it's not so bad today. Told her to tell me not to worry, he know's I'll make it on time! Gotta love an optimist! Leaving in 24 hrs! Map quested myself the route to Flanagans from the hotel, says it takes 5 minutes to get there, not sure how long in snow! Hopefully see you all tomorrow, I'll be the "Frozen Floridasickle!" LOL

Oh, ok. I am looking for some moms in my area. My son went to BC on 10/29 and he mentioned some guys from our area in Div 040 and 041. Good luck on your travels. You will do fine.

Intelchips, my son called around 3:15 my time on Friday (5:15 for them). He had BS on Thursday. He had watch that night, so he wasn't allowed to sleep until after 10 pm. I know Jamie's son called around the same time too.

my son Jordan called 4 times yesterday too!! He's worried about us getting there in time--I also told him to look for the girls in Santa hats if he needed to use a phone to call us. I'm so happy it's getting closer!! Our weather here isn't the greatest yet---hoping it will clear up soon!!

My son said the same thing (about the filming) I wonder how long before something like that airs on TV? Congrats everyone on your new Sailors!!! Travel safely---
