Happy New Year everyone!! So happy for the ones that were able to spend the holidays with their sailors and excited for the ones that will be home with family soon!! Sent my sailor back to Pensacola today....what a tough thing to do!!! I am so greatful to have communication though.
Abbesmom- My thoughts are with you...wow you have had a lot of goodbye at once!!!
Our son Aaron has been home since December 17th. We are having a wonderful time with him. Having him home for Christmas was the best gift ever! He leaves on New Year's Day to return to Nuke school in Charleston. It will be difficult but at least we'll now have easy communication with e-mail and cell phones.
I was thrilled to find this web site. It was such a comfort during those last few weeks of boot camp. Congratulations and good luck to all from PIR 12/3.
