For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Tues/Thurs are only 20 minutes though so they are about only 1-2 pages. Sundays are about 3 pages because they have more time to write. (Maybe it is only his division that gets to write multiple days, i'm not sure)

Comment by Sailor'sGirl NukeWife on November 15, 2010 at 3:18pm: jessicat this lil angel in my stomach is been making me eat a lot these couple days... haha... i lost 10 lbs then now i'm getting more than i lost!!! i do have a lot of clothes here but kind of lil tight to me and needs to buy a new dress lol that dress i prepare to wear is getting tight on me... and needs a warmer shoes... also thanks!!! i really hope he gets to write more soon!!! i thought they are only allowed to write every sunday?

Comment by Sailor'sGirl NukeWife on November 15, 2010 at 2:57pm: lucky her she can write almost everyday and lucky you... my byfriend only write me a letter once a week... only got two letters and 1 call from him since he get in BC... the friends and his family only get 1 letter since he's been in... hope to get more letters though... that's my only life right now... and he only write one page so it's really small.. and cant even get any info

Comment by TMH (Ship 9 Div.14) on November 15, 2010 at 2:45pm: Not too sure, all she said is her Div got in trouble and she was sure the RDC's hated them now and was very stressed out about passing. She did mention that her Div needed to learn how to be a team - It really mad me sad :-( but I am hoping her next letter will be of a happier tone. She has been very good about writing almost every day and I only got two letters last week so i am sure she is working her tail off and hopefully getting out of trouble.
