Hey Sherri - I think there's a phone number you have to call, also - in addition to faxing the blue form. It's on one of the forms with directions. I so wish I was going for Thanksgiving but I can't get off work Friday, either.
My recent letters are also very upbeat. He got to go shopping at the NEX for his division and was SO excited to buy stationary, tooth paste, deodorant and lotion - since the cold weather is so hard on thier skin (he's a southern boy). I thought it was awesome for him to get so excited about something that SEEMS so trivial to the outside world!

I just remember -- mail will not be delivered Thursday. It's Veterans Day. Can't complain about that.

my boyfriends check was smaller too but he informed me that he had to spend $550 on supplies when he got to boot camp and that the first check would be small... they get paid the 1st and 15th of every month..

Got another letter today. Brandon is doing great. He is really excited to get to GC for Nuke A School. I am so happy he sounds better and better with every letter.
Comment by diannep on November 10, 2010 at 9:14pm
they get paid twice a month. His small 1st check is probably because they took out for his uniforms.
Comment by chandlersmom on November 10, 2010 at 8:24pm
Hey my Son only got a partial pay check I guess very small is that what yours got? Do you know how often he will get paid? We are paying his car payment from it and I wanted to set up auto payments.
