I was reading on the Boot Camp Moms website that someone was talking about divisional T-shirts, so she sent me the link that I've posted here. You can order shirts with your divisions flags on them. Each division creates their own flag and carries it with them at PIR, so just thought I'd share this info. They also said these shirts would be available at PIR, some people said they go fast, some said there are plenty. But if you want to order ahead of time, here's the link: you may have to copy & paste into your browser.

Stacy: Have others from his division made calls?
Comment by diannep on October 31, 2010 at 11:48am
sherri and stacy: Yes, you can get a military gate pass from the counter agent and go to the gate with them. This is not guaranteed but I have not heard of it being turned down. You must have ID...everyone who gets a pass....so be sure to have all ID with you. It is a great last-minute visit with them!

I wouldn't know since he still hasn't called! :-( I wonder since he is in charge over everyone if he is having to wait to be last?? Anyone know?

To all Nuke moms of PIR 12/3...has your recruit talked to the nuke counselor yet at BC? I have heard some of the moms say their recruits have talked to a nuclear counselor who gave them info about the transition to Goose Creek. I don't think my son has talked to anyone, so was just wondering if your recruit had talked to anyone like that. Thanks!

Yay Tammy! I am so happy for you and it's great that he got to talk to everyone. Makes you feel so much better to hear their voice and KNOW that they really are OK. I know you were doing the happy dance last night! :)
