Sherri, thank you so much! I love you too, girl! I cannot wait to meet you and the fam at PIR and Michael of course! I love the support system on this site, it really gets you through the tough times and the good times! Im crossing my fingers that all of us ladies get a letter and call sometime this week.

YEA!!!! I am so worried that I will miss my (#2 of #3) call that I have a little pocket type purse with a long strap that I will be wearing all day long at work. I am so afraid that I am going to walk out of my office for a quick minute and miss the call from my son. This way I don't have to worry about remembering to take my phone, it is always on me. I must say that my stress level was less today than yesterday.
My prayers are will Tabbi and her son and family.

Hey everyone....I was just on the bootcamp group, and the leaving for bootcamp in OCT.. and guess what... 2 moms heard from their daughters today---phone calls....one left 10/4, and one 10/5....so those with daughters may hear from your's soon if they left about the same time, and those with sons/hubbies, maybe the boys calls are not to far behind....I guess we'll see...we can hope!

Allie, praying for you girl!! Love you like you're family and we've never even met! We'll all be thinking of you and that special little one on his bday!! Just celebrate like crazy and take tons of pictures to send your sailor, he'll love it!!!!!

I do hope Tabbi is doing well....I've not heard from her for a while but been praying for the family....

Jessica B...Tabbi made me an admin...tell me what to do and where I should go and I'll try to get music if I can...I'll look around and see what, if anything I find.

oh, yes, when I got the I'm here call....it was from a 419 area code...Michael's cell had died at the airport and one of the others let him borrow his phone...so nice, even then they were starting to bond!

Allie: It takes strong stock to be a Navy wife, I'm sure. And I think the ladies on here gave you good suggestions to try and get involved with groups for your baby...meet some people. And then when you are living with your husband again...hopefully you can meet up with other Navy wives and keep each other company. Hang in there...your hubby is doing a great thing! He is working hard for you two!

Hang in there- allie(Ship 9 Div 10) keep your head up! It is defiantly hard on everyone. Send pictures :-) he will love that! Your husband will love that.

I just got my second letter from my daughter today ~ she is very home sick :-( but is grateful for the letters.I have to share something she said in her letter today "I am beginning to really miss home, every day I eat an apple from Yakima and I know it sounds stupid, but it makes me really sad" (We are from Seattle) I just want to hug her <3 She also mentioned the letters are so important to her :-) so I am continuing to write. Tomorrow I think I am going to bring a blank card up to her old work and have everyone sign it to send to her.

This site is awesome - Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and Ideas. It makes me feel so much more normal.

Have a great night all
