Yeah Diannep it is weird how some of them are blacked out. The first one from my daughter was not but then all the others were until she started using the ones I sent. I asked her in one of the questionnaires I sent why it was like that and that was the answer I got. But who knows lol.

NukeMom, I work for a dentist and its actually rare to see complications from extracted wisdom teeth. He'll have to take it easy for a day or two and then he should be good to go.

I haven't received one either :(

Thank you both! And, of course, you are right - He's the one who makes the decisions and He knows what's best! Sunny, I am a nurse and if God has chosen that path for Meg, that's where she is meant to be. Keep in touch with us and let us know how she is doing.

And, NukeMom: I agree totally with what Sunny said here. I wouldn't worry about the wisdom tooth removal and complications. They do this SO MUCH...it is very routine to the personnel there. I'm sure he will be fine with that.

NukeMom: There seem to be alot lately being sent home....so I don't know. I know that N4M's represents such a small percentage of the recruits...so we really don't know how many of the ones not on this site are being sent home too. Maybe it is just hitting more of the N4M recruits and that's why it seems like alot? They are very overmanned in the Navy now, so they can afford to be very picky with who they keep. I feel very sad each time I hear a recruit is being sent home....but as a Christian, I have to believe that there is a reason for this...and that there is something better out that for each recruit sent home.

NukeMom and diannep - thanks for you support. I didn't get to talk to her because I was with a client so she called her sister, she's only permitted a certain # of calls so I'm certain I'll hear from her tomorrow. NukeMom - Wisdom teeth are very very common and have very few issues - I wouldn't let yourself get worked up over the "what-ifs" :) My oldest daughter is devestated about her sister, but I'm odly calm (sad but calm) knowing that a higher power has steered her life down a different path.
Comment by Linda (navynucmom) on October 22, 2010 at 5:11pm
Oh Sunny, I am so sorry :( Gosh, it seems like a lot are being sent home. diannep, is it always like this? I think this makes #4 since we started and we (on Navy4Moms) are only represent a small portion of all the recruits that are there. So, I'm sure there are more than this that have been sent home. I am getting a little worried about my son & his wisdom teeth. If he has complications with that, will they send him home?
