I agree totally with Jessica about what is posted on here being read. Please be very neutral in your posts and don't give too many specifics. Private message is a better tool to use if you need to express more specific info. Recently on some sites, I have seen a couple of last names "slip" in. A huge no no. Personally, I don't even think first names should be used....but I know some like to do that. My son was referred to in my posts just like that..."my son." And, remember...N4M's is a public site...just google something about Navy boot camp and watch all of the posts that come up. So post with care!

I saw a post on the bootcamp group from a mom who's recruit just PIRd and she said some of the recruits said they though they were being punished for things that were being posted on N4Ms. Do you think they really look at this? That just seems strange to me.

Just got my form letter, I was hoping my daughter was in PIR 12/3 since this group has some great people in it! She is Ship 03, Division 18-anybody else in there?

NukeMom - there are actually MANY NukeMom users names LOL! I think the other one updated her user name with her son's ship and div number though so that she was easier to find!!

I got the form letter today. Ryan said everything was going good, learning how to fold and doesn't like the showers. LOL! It was so good to get it!! I am doing the Happy Dance too!!

I guess there are two NukeMoms! Concerned me at first, thought I had posted receiving letters! Maybe. I will change to just "Stacy". :-) but yeah! Can't wait to start getting letters!
