For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I couldn't stop crying after she hung up :( After a day or two, I started to accept that mentally they are not in a good place yet - missing home, missing momma, missing their friends, their phones, their pets, their laptops, homecooking.....just missing every darn thing and all it took for him was to hear your voice and he was reminded about all those things that he's trying to forget that he's missing. Hang in there! It will get better for you and him both!

I know Cam had wanted this, seems alot like my son....weird that so many are having panic attacks....didn't realize that it would send him home though...that bites! I asked if Dalton was there, he said he didn't know a dalton but there are several others from his division there. Not sure why we didn't get to talk that long. It just seems so odd that he had one since he is so easy going and has been waiting for this for so long...like it was his life goal.
