Oh good luck dalton'smom! Hope our tricks work!!! Recruits don't normally have email privilages, but I think they might if they are moved to Ship 5; which is the medical ship and the ship for those waiting to process out.

Well. i emailed that our insurance would not help since he joined the military. The day he left he was removed. etc. UGH...waiting to hear back. He does have email privilages (sp? can't think!) right now!

MsMaria: If you got the div number from the recruiter, you may want to doublecheck it. Have you received the form letter yet with the div number on it?
Comment by Dodie on October 14, 2010 at 1:29pm

daltons mom, when he calls again tell him to sign a paper giving them permission to talk to you about his medical needs. That will help. Try to convince him to stay and get it done there. It is very hard to get back in and all the paperwork has be done the right way. You can also try talking to his recruiter to see what the paperwork needs to say to make sure he gets back in if he does come home. It is best to stay and get it done, then they know you really want to be there. Good luck, I will keep you and your son in my prayers.

Good one Sunny's mom!!! I can email! If any of you have great wisdom and want to email to...i can give his addy...lol!!! I am freaking out!!! My whole family is telling me to tell him he will be homeless if he comes home. Of course I can't tell him that! I don't want him ticked and have to stay...know what i mean??? What a day...and to think I woke up so happy! UGH!

Dalton'smom - if you do get to talk to him again, you could tell him a "little white fib" that he's been taking off of your insurance coverage (and you can't add him back onto the policy) so there's no way to pay for the surgery at home and he has to get it done there. Sneaky, not truthful, but sometimes Moms have to do what Moms have to do if you know what I mean.
