Emily, I would think so...they aren't a liquid...or at least not the ones i've used in the past, and they are under the 4 oz right? I can't believe they wouldn't allow them...what airline are you flying? you might go there and check under the restrictions just to make sure.

Molly, my son is going for corpsman. I guess when they start that school we will have to figure out which new group we will belong to. I will feel so relieved once I get "the call". I am so excited for all of us to finally get to see our loved ones. I understand that BC was hard for our recruits, but I truly think it was just as hard on us. lol.

Stacy: I wouldn't worry too much if your son sounded a bit down. They do that...and it is coming to an end soon. They are tired, excited, and nervous all at the same time. He will be fine....remember....bc is an emotional rollercoaster for everyone....recruits and all on this site! But he's almost there!

If anyone with a recruit in 903 talks to them, try and get confirmation on the BStations date. Dodie was asking....she believe it is as posted from what her son said, but would like to hear from others in the group. So please post here and up in the BattleStations discussion above if you know for sure the date. Thanks!

Nukemom....I hope he is doing better now...there must be so many emotions they go through, but maybe he's thinking now less than 2 weeks and that'll make him feel better!! Will be saying an extra prayer for him to get through these last few weeks!! And for all of them to get through the last couple weeks!!!!!!
Sandy, congrats...how cool is that!! i went to a craft fair yesterday and bought a Navy ornament...woulda bought more, but the lady who made them said she had sold like 5 that day..and I got to her booth like at 1030 and the fair started at 9...but she thanked me for letting my son go into the military and told me to thank him as well....then a little later a lady made purses out of used army tents, dungarees etc...that said i love my soldier etc...I asked about a Navy one for my sons GF...she had sold the 2 she had that day and is makin us one out of the blue dungarees that will say I heart my sailor.....she told me to thank him and all the guys he was in BC with and was almost crying while talking with me....so much pride I felt!
