Lala Ribbon Queen: I am sorry, i am out of the loop- what is the blue ribbon signifying?
Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on November 19, 2010 at 10:32am
Good Morning everyone. Everyone who ordered ribbons from me for PIR should be receiving them beginning today and over the next few days. They have all been shipped. Please come here and post when you get them and let me know what you think. If you have not ordered and want some just let me know. It is not too late to get them in time for PIR.

TMH My son is in Div 10. He told me that he will call me the once he becomes (in his words) a real Sailor. My son was supposed to be a Nuke too, but sadly no longer. If he had handled some things differently since January, I think he would have been OK, but well...

Thanks Lynne for the reminder of where to find the code. I had completely forgotten that.

QT4JLM/Dawn: your comment about your nuke getting 12 days at Christmas, has your SR told you exactly which day they can leave Goose Creek and which day they must return by? Also, do you know if there are specific times? I am trying to make airline reservations and I have not been able to get answers. This nuke mom would love any info that you have.

The password for you parking pass was in the form letter you got initially from your recruit. Also, for those of you bringing children under the age of 12 although they do not count as a "guest" you must have identification with you such as their birth certificate or social security number. Please do not forget this.

My new daughter in law have leaned on each other everyday since Oct 5th. She has her good days and I have mine. We have helped each other a lot. I see her almost daily and talk to her multiple times a day, and without her I don't know if I would of made it through this tough time. When we get letters we get together and read each others, and between the both of us we try to figure out what is going on in GL. We shared our phone call last night thank God for 3 way calling. I am so thankful that my son choose such a wonderful girl to make his wife, and we are both looking forward to PIR. I agree Dad's just don't know the feeling like moms and wives. We count the days down together everyday. I am so grateful for such a great family.
