For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by cadams(ship09 Div 016) on November 17, 2010 at 5:58pm: Div 016 is making calls. Just received my call only 10 min long but the best 10 min in my life. He said all was going well and the Division is working well as a team. They had gotten flags and got to march around base by themselves, which was exciting to them. Sounded really up beat and said things were getting much easier. Hope some others from Div 016 get there much waited on phone calls. My prayers were answered. Thanks you God.

jessica i kind of already have the feeling that he will be grad and go before and i told him i am so mad because he told me he will come home after basic(maybe he thinks he will be in PiR 12/22???) same here i am wondering what did he got for me!!!

It is a pic of a bunch of ribbons ordered for this group and a couple other ribbons for someone going to a homecoming for the Truman sometime in the next couple of months. Please come on here and post what you think of your ribbons once they arrive. :)
