This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During the 12 hour overnight drill, they encounter every situation that they might face when deployed on a ship.  It is a night of adrenaline and focus.

Up to 4 divisions can go at once, but sometimes only 2 or 3 go.  Brother divisions go together.  800 and 900 divisions go randomly.  They start with the lowest numbered divisions and move up.  They can start on the Thursday night, a week before PIR.  They skip Fri and Sat nights because of Captains Cup on Saturday (athletic competition between divisions...fun for them!).  They can resume BattleStations Sun-Wed nights during PIR week. Something a Chief said about Battlestations:

150-300 SRs go at a time, 3-10 of them will fail and have to repeat it, the most important thing is TEAMWORK. If the SRs keep their mouths shut, listen, and work as a team, they should pass.

The brother divisions in this PIR group are:

63+64, 65+66, 67+68, 69+70, 71+72, 73+74

804

912

"I'm a Sailor" phone calls will start to come in the day they finish, usually starting around 2 pm GL time and going into the evening.  They may need to complete PIR practice first so be patient.  Some may have watch and won't call until the next day.

When you get a BattleStations date from your recruit, post it here and I will add it to the schedule.

HOOYAH!

*****BattleStations Schedule******(they start late at night and continue through the next morning which is why there are 2 dates posted)

Thurs, Feb 3rd/Fri, Feb 4th   Div 63, 64, 65, 66 (moved back a day due to blizzard)

Sun, Feb 6th/Mon, Feb 7th   Div 67, 68, 804 (moved back from Thurs due to blizzard)

Mon, Feb 7th/Tues Feb 8th   Div 69, 70, 912

Tues, Feb 8th/Wed Feb. 9th  Div 71, 72,  73, 74

Postal1: you probaly posted that before - I missed it somehow!  OMG that is just next Wednesday, so I could get a call on Thursday!   Dang - I am going in for some Medical tests that day... I might miss the "I am a Sailor" call!     I'll think of something, even if I have to sneak the phone under the hospital gown! :-)
Just received a letter from my son (Ship 04 Div 804) that BattleStations are February 3rd for 24 hours.  Don't have a start time though.
marianne:  They are only for 12 hours, not 24.  They usually start around 8 pm at night and they have their capping ceremony (graduation) around 7 or 8 am the next morning.  But they are awake for about 40 hours...and can finally go to bed the evening that they finish.  I have 804 on the schedule up top.
Thanks

Great Marainne!!!  OMG it is all coming together!  Lets have those candles ready!!  Can w hold an N4M vigil?????? LOL

SO when should we get the calls if it ends in the morning????

I asked on the RTC facebook page and the response was "The calls can come in anywhere from late morning to early evening."

Oh man, so pretty much have our phones GLUED to us all day! LOL  :)  I will be nervous wreck that day!

I will be in work but I am going to tell EVERYONE that my phone is my first priority that day!  I missed his first call and I am not about to miss this one.

Usually the calls start around 2pm GL time and can go into the early evening.  Yes, best to have the phone glued to you all day on that day!

Hmm. I'm gonna guess based on that schedule that 73+74 (my DH is in 73) will probably go Mon 7th/Tues 8th if they go every night possible with as many divisions as possible. If they break it up more it could be later in the week I guess.
You could be right! Unless they go on Sunday night.  Sometimes they go on Sunday night also.

I was just thinking if they skip Fri and Sat nights because of the Captain's Cup, then tentatively it could look like this:

Sun 6th/Mon 7th: 69+70 and 71+72

Mon 7th/Tues 8th: 73+74 and 912

OR

Sun 6th/Mon 7th: 69+70 and 912

Mon 7th/Tues 8th: 71+71 and 73+74

Unless they spread it out more, in which case they could go as late as Tues. night if they run it every night (but skip Fri and Sat nights). Unless 912 goes by themselves (does that ever happen?) and then it could be as late as Wed. night...but that's cutting it kind of close to PIR so I kind of doubt they would do that.
