just chatted with a rep, designs are not inter-changeable =(

How is everyone coming along with the scarves?  Are most wearing yellow (for N4M) and sewing your division color on it somewhere or are you all intertwining the two colors with two scarfs?

I think someone posted theirs awhile back and it was yellow with the division color strip sewn down the middle,

We are going with yellow scarf with a lavender stripe edged with black.  We are also putting a patch on it with our SRs name and Ship/Div.  When I get the scarf I will post a pic.

Great idea with the patch added!   Please do post....cant wait to see it!

In fact maybe everyone can start posting pics for those who are looking for ideas?

How are you making the patch?  I am doing the yellow fleece with tan and gold strip down the center - patch idea sounds terrific.  My grandson is 04/804.  Can't wait to see everyone - great idea.
My sister-in-law is making them and I am not sure yet how she is going to do it.  She is a super talented seamstress though so I know they are going to look great.  I will post the pics when I get the scarves.  Probably will be another week before I get them.
mama- I do hope everyone does this! we will look so awesome! The SRs know about it, so they will have to fight back a smile when they enter and see all the yellow and how we joined together to support them! Can't wait!!
Goodness, there is no way anyone is getting me to wear yellow! I do not wear yellow ever. LOL. How do I know what the division colors are? ETA: Just saw above. 073 is black...sigh...I don't wear black either, it makes me washed out. Sorry gals, you will have to spot me some other way. :P

I dont wear yellow either but I will wear it for the PIR and then it will be packed away as a momento of time!  ;)

So come on MamaMiri-just one day?????

Well...there is just no way I am wearing it when I go to hug my Lovie. I am planning a whole special new outfit to wow him with and I'm not about to have a yellow scarf break up the flow. I guess I'll have to find a yellow that doesn't look stupid on me.
Oh I agree with yellow not being the most flattering lol. Just think how nice yellow will match his blues! ;)
So excited about this scarf idea!!  I bought the yellow fleece but panicked because I can't cut straight to save my soul so I asked a lady at work who quilts and she brought me back 6 beautiful, straight pieces of fleece.  Now I just need to fringe them and adhere the orange ribbon.  We were going to just do the plain yellow but my SR's favorite color is orange so we will definetly add that.   What a great momento of all the hope we have held each other up with during this challenging time!
