Great!!!  It is becoming so REAL!

O.k. Everyone......In 3 weeks, at exactly this time, I will be on a plane!!!!!    I am so full of excitement as we are getting close, I have started my list of things to NOT forget for my SR, (sweats, lint brush, phone, laptop,)   Any other items or suggestions you all can think of ?

I am sending out an extra letter to Mother Nature today to remind her of our travels and we would greatly appreciate her cooperation!

Have a great day and lets remember to keep each others recruits and families in our prayers, this is a "team" effort!

Like the idea of getting to meet some of you but we won't get in till late thursday night :( will have to see about the scart thing not sure if I can come up with something like that................
I am going to try to make some extra scarves - if anyone needs one - I will have it and bring it to the Meet and Greet.  They will be yellow with tan and gold.  Plain but at least we will match somewhat
keep our SR'S in extra prayers they are testing all week and continuing with differant things up to Battlestations. my son said Friday is their last PST in boot camp not sure it he ment today or a differant Friday so pray hard for all our 800 guys.
Well I hope that they all do well! And hoping for some mail today! Nothing all week, still don't know if he has gotten my mail.

Nothing here either BB!  I am hoping today........but we have tomorrow too!

Pench said they are having possible  last PST today, lets give them our prayers this week everyone and know that while it is 3 weeks for us to see them, it is also 3 weeks of hard work and lots of testing for our guys!

Lets go 804!!!!!  NAVY STONG!!!!

ok ladies here is what my SR sent his GF for the next couple of weeks, it was really cute, he sent her a calender and she took a picture of it and sent it to me.

1/21 is day 5-1 PST

1/24 5-2 firefighting

1/25 5-3 firefighting

1/26-1/28 seamanship/gas chamber

he thinks captains cup is either the 29 or 2/5 there  was a ? mark there

1/31-2/2 prepare for BS

2/3 BS

2/4 day 7-1

2/7-2/10- prepare for graduation

well I thought that if this is correct it will help us get through the next couple of weeks!!!

So Im looking for Rodriguez who grew up in Allentown graduated from William Allen, he is very good friends with my son. Also Lugo and Edwards (from Jersey) I know I spoke to you gals somewhere along the line here! All hanging out together in BC with my boy!
Thanks Proud USA Mom, I knew they where pretty busy from my sons last letter and reminded his girlfriend of that yesterday (she has been getting letters on monday) it is still tough though not getting that letter in the mail. we only have 16 more days though so we can make it, all down hill from here.

Got a letter.....he said it would probably be the last letter. It is dated on Sunday, He said they are doing Firefighting this week and BS will be done on Thursday.  Not sure if that means Wed night and finish on Thursday or Thursday night/ Friday morning.

He said his body felt stronger and he was not throwing up anymore, His knee was still a little sore but said for sure better.   He is excited for Pre Buds and said he met a buddy who is really in shape and was a real driver and that the SEAL guy there told him it was important to make that partnership cause you will NEED that to make it through Pre Buds and Buds and that you dont make it being a loner! you will need these guys to push you and you push them.. Not sure who is new buddy is but I know its not his bunkmate due to no name being mentioned.

He said it was kind of sad he wont be writing anymore but he knows it means he is close to being done and could not wait till PIR!!!!

He told me thank you for all the letters and all the letters and inspirational things we have sent him have gotten him through, He was being sarastic and said without my letters he would of hung himself.   It is just so comforting to hear from him that he really enjoyed our letters, pictures and all the goofy stuff we sent!

I will continue sending him letters and fun stuff to help him smile through the next few "testing" weeks!

Ladies,,,,,,,my lighter is ready to touch that candle...!!!!    ;)

The odd thing is some say they are and some say they are not!   I guess I am confused is when they say ther are Grad and Go,,,,and it is not always over night then what is really Grad and GO?  LOL

I guess we will find out when we get there and they get their OFFICIAL orders after PIR!
