Your recruit is gonna get picked on no matter what.... Its all a part of the game, short, tall, fat, skinny, they will find something to pick on you about, so if they pick on your recruit b/c you love them.  I'd personally be happy.

Cinder you can deff put your son's ship and div # when I went through my RDCs never once looked at this site, and even if they do look, they cannot give your recruit extra IT, or punish them for something that you do.  They can only use words to mess with them. I wouldn't worry about it.

JessicaB Sailors mom

Thanks for all the great info my son is going into CTT.  I'll let everyone know not to joke.  Got his letter today:)  Are we allowed to tell what ship and division or will they be able to figure out who he is?

Hey Ladies I'm back with more answers for you.  First TS is a Top Secret Security clearance, two of my buddies who were headed for CT schools got their interviews in Boot Camp,  B/C my training pipeline here in CT is so long they waited to do mine after I graduated.  I was not a grad&go division, and there really isn't a way to tell, unless you talk to your recruit.  I have asked Hannah to look at the MTS(Master Training Schedule) for her div, and let me know.  As far as Angie's questions we were issued whitey tideys, and they suck most of us stopped wearing them after week 3 b/c we had to wear pt shorts all the time anyways.  You must wear shower shoes in the head and ONLY in the head.  If you are caught with shower shoes on outside the head it's gonna be a bad day.  We are NOT allowed to talk in the galley, the galley is for eating not socializing, boot camp is for learning, not socializing.  If you need something all you can do is point.  I mean we got caught talkin in the galley one time, and we never got caught again lol.  I can tell you that your recruits aren't doin much yet just lots of paperwork, folding laundry, eatin chow, if they aren't cleared by medical yet they won't even be workin out. Once I get a letter and know what DOT( Day of Training) my recruit is on I can give you better info.  I hope all you ladies are doin ok, and I'm here if ya need me.

LovinMa, that is the worst. Lucas was home with Daddy every morning when he woke up, and it's the one thing that breaks me down when I see him searching every room saying Dada:( If only he could understand..

OK, I changed ny badge, since I didn't want my daughter to get into any trouble or have to do extra PT, 'cause her Mom put her pic in this forum. So....did anyone get their letter today or recently??? All of our family and friends keep calling me and emailing me, asking for her address. Maybe we will get them soon....I keep praying.

I do have a question.....when my son went to PI for the Marine Corps boot camp, they posted a calendar, of each days activity. Like when they were going to do the water test, the gas chamber, the 54 hour Crucible, as well as the rifle range. Will the SR schedule be posted for us to see? I printed my son's, and put it in his scrapbook. Then when it was time for their final test, the Crucible, we all signed up to take turns lighting our candles. It was seperated into 2-hour increments. Does anyone know anything about that?
