Marco's love   find out his ship and div # then go to this website  http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp      My ship and div isn't posted yet   but it will either be March 18 or 25th    We are hoping they update it on Monday  so I can be 100% positive   or at least as positive as can be    My SR is the first military person in my family since my dad in WWII and my father passed away when I was 18   so its really all new to me

One of the other mothers did suggest to me not to use my sr's name on the board so that would be my suggest to you..and if that is his pic there  I'ld change that too....you dont want his RDC to see if and give him a reason for extra pushups

Marco's Love   we are neighbors!   I live near Rochester NY   Welcome   My sr left on 1/19 from Syracuse   I received his box last nite but no letter yet.   I was able to find out a address by calling his recruiter who told me his ship and div number.   That info will tell you when PIR is scheduled for    What will be your bf's job

Hannah's Sailor - I am so excited that you joined this group  Its a huge advantage I think for us moms and gf,wives and aunts)   and Craig too!  and thank you for your service

Stay strong everyone   Beth has started a facebook private page for us  Ive volunteered to create a map with our names, our sr names, div and ship # and our location    I wont post it here as it is a public site but if you want go to facebook and sign up for Beth's private page

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on January 26, 2011 at 10:18am

Beth, they get a chance to change the list a couple weeks before PIR. Just to be safe I would write him a letter and give him the name that is on the drivers license and have him put it on the list when they get to make changes.

Hannah's Sailor- you and my sailor were there at the same time. She had PIR just 3 weeks before yours so I really doubt you even saw each other lol. She was in the choir and one of her RDC's name was Jones, they gave her the nick name "Skipper" (like Barbie's little sister lol) I made ribbons for many of the families in your PIR group to wear to PIR and I wonder if your family ordered ribbons from me :). I bet you are glad to be out of bootcamp. Did you meet Hannah before you both joined the Navy? My daughter met her husband in DEP.
