Hannah'sSailor: Congrats to you! Maybe you can help the ladies on here with specific questions about what goes on in the barracks, testing, etc. Things that only those who were IN THERE would know! :-) Good luck to your fiance!
My son graduated last year, but some of us veteran moms are on here to help. I have a question for you: In the beginning of bc, were you all only allowed to write on Sundays? And once the mail was finally delivered to you all for the first time, was it delivered 6 days a week? That is what we always thought (and then later on, recruits could mail out on other days during the week)...but on another group, 2 recruits from the same division said that they only received mail on Sundays but could write any day. ????? They are pretty close to the beginning of bc.
Congrats Beth!!! I know you are thrilled you have those numbers now and your name looks beautiful I got my box today pants weren't rolled up, he's such a rebel :) stinky shoes and socks but I did smell his jeans and tshirt but then I put them in the laundry pile HIs coat smells of cigarette smoke. yuck..I hated that I hope that the forced 8 weeks of not smokting will last longer than 8 weeks I cried a little but not too bad He drew a design on the top of the box and he wrote a 2 sentence note to his girlfriend about how she was beautiful and that the moon was just a pretty FUnny I remember looking at that moon that nite and his girlfriend also commented on the moon
