Ugh.....no letter yet from my daughter. I was so happy to get the box yesterday, but am really depressed like k-town mom. Even though her recruiter gave me her address, he told me to wait to mail anything until I receive the official "letter." Anyway, hope everyone either gets their box or letter today, or even both. In the letter, does the recruit get to write a personal message?

Still waiting for something everyone, I have no clue what her ship is or div. I hope something comes today.Maybe I will take a drive to the recruiters, see if they can give me something. I would like to send her letters. Hang in there everyone.

terrijean:  "Push" divisions are ones who complete boot camp in 7 weeks.  They do it all, just a bit faster.  So looks like your son is in one if he arrived on 1/18.

Dawn- you are gonna have to train your man better lol, he needs to take pics of these important events. How else are you supposed to scrapbook this journey? lol

For those of you who like a lot of pics: once your sailor is out of bootcamp give them a couple extra chips for their camera. Have them take pics and then when the card is full they can send it to you and start using the next one. By the time it is full you can have the first one sent back to them. They can also upload the pics to a photo bucket or to a place like CVS online and put them in an album. You can then pick and print the ones you want and pick them up in an hour.

Good morning mae SR gf   my son also left Jan 19th    We are starting to get the boxes (havent gotten mine yet  -maybe today) and I called his recruiter yesterday and got the div and ship #  ship 2 Div 900    so that was exciting   From that info I could figure out the almost positive graduation date   March 18th    We are still waiting for RCT to post the official dates

Welcome to our roller coaster   We are becoming a very strong and supportive group and we welcome you and everyone else warmly on this board   Hang on tight we are in for one hell of a ride!   Go NAVY!

Good morning, everyone.  One day closer to PIR!  Just keep that in mind!  Jessica, Lala, and I have been there, done that, with our sailors....so we know that things will get better for you all soon.  Just keep focusing on that SAILOR you will see in just a few weeks!
