Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I can't wait to go home and see a box! lol....also..I called my son's recruiter today...he is in Ship 2 Div. 918.

All of her clothes, and personal items were in the box, as well as her plane ticket and a big manilla envelope. Now, I just need the letter from her. When I called her recruiter earlier he told me a little info: Ship 7, Division 103. Does anyone know the graduation date???

Lala commented that BC is only 7 weeks for a lot of them...Beth...you should be receiving your letter any day...I live in FL...was surprised to get the box and letter at the same time..

Of course she had just recently finished bootcamp and said he needed to toughen up and be a man lol. I think she was paying him back for doing the same thing on her letters he wrote to her. :)

My husband wants to send him a Valentine :>) - I told him no because they will make fun. He just laughed...Is anyone else sending Valentine's?

It depends on how long it takes to fill up a division and according to my sailor if someone gets taken out of a division in the first week out so they will get someone who just got there to take their place.
