FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

so i was just on you tube and i was watching the some of the PIR that were posted and i literally started crying...i didnt even know any of the sailors but i could just feel it like i was there just to see them march in and their familys runing up to them at the end was so emotional....well im glad i seen this now so i know ahead of time to pack lots of tissues because im gonna be one emotional girl that day lol but they are all tears of joy!! cnt wait to see him again!!

ok my 3/18 crew, i got another call from my son today, he is now on ship 7 DIV104, i also got a very short letter yesterday, he still sounds very homesick but i guess they all are. i miss him soooo much.......

Craig:  Actually the order form on that website is Poseidon's order form.  All the same info on it.  I printed mine out and faxed it when my son was there.

Hi All,

Heard from our SR this morning by phone -- He is in Division 104 -- he is doing well and passed an important inspection with flying colors, so he received some extra "points." He got the mail we sent him last week and said that he has written too, so we should be expecting a letter in the next few days. He said there is A LOT of snow on the ground too. It was nice to hear his voice.

Thanks oregonmom:) LOL.. I told our mail person that my boy was at boot camp so she wouldn't think I'd lost my mind waiting for her out at the mailbox everyday.Nothing yet so far tho..
