Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by LovinMaSR~SHIP 07~DIV 103 <3 on February 4, 2011 at 5:39pm: so i was just on you tube and i was watching the some of the PIR that were posted and i literally started crying...i didnt even know any of the sailors but i could just feel it like i was there just to see them march in and their familys runing up to them at the end was so emotional....well im glad i seen this now so i know ahead of time to pack lots of tissues because im gonna be one emotional girl that day lol but they are all tears of joy!! cnt wait to see him again!!

Heard from our SR this morning by phone -- He is in Division 104 -- he is doing well and passed an important inspection with flying colors, so he received some extra "points." He got the mail we sent him last week and said that he has written too, so we should be expecting a letter in the next few days. He said there is A LOT of snow on the ground too. It was nice to hear his voice.
