Charlotte T, What DIV was your daughter in? Does that play a role in GNG? Do you think if I call his recruiter they will know?? I haven't booked anything because of not knowing if he'll have the weekend? Sorry to bother with all these questions.

Got the 3 week call yesterday and a letter. He sounds like he is adjusting to bootcamp and Navy life! It was so good to know he is okay! Does anyone out there have a son named Jesse P in Div 133? Seems are sons are becoming friends. 28 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hacmps: He is doing fairly good. Not happy about all the dental work that he had and still has to go through.

So while on the phone with hubby I questioned him about how his ironing is going? He told me he knew how to iron before we moved in together and was doing well. I then asked why he never touched the iron at home. His reply....that is what you are there for! It made me giggle though!

LOL Dan'sMom!!
My son didn't wreck his car (tho noone would know if he did... LOL) but he got several moving violations. So many, that my husband's company denied his job application. We too looked into military highschool! But no way could afford it. I'm glad he's where he is now!! I'm not so worried about 'A' school tho, cuz he's 20 1/2 and has done some growing up in the last several months and just his joining the Navy shows that for us.

He called, but we weren't home!!!! WWWAAAHHHH!!! Said he was okay, he passed his test, and he probably won't get another call for 2 weeks.

Hi Everyone! I discovered this site and this group why searching the web the other day. I am so happy to find people that understand me and what I am going through. This is my first experience with military, so I am trying to learn as much as I can. Hubby and I have only been married about a year and a half and he left for BC on my birthday (1/28).

Dan'sMom, I did recieve a call on Feb 18th at around 7. We spoke for about 12 mins until the RDCs were yelling in the background "you got 60 secs"...we hung up quickly after that. It's intimidating and I didn't want him to be the last on the phone. It's refreshing to hear them and the sound that they are doing really well!! Thanks again! Only 29 more days until PIR!!
