Hi Ladies, My son was a grad last week. You are in for a wonderful weekend. A few things I learned being there was that the Ramada puts on a wonderful Meet and Greet. I was going to take the Ramada bus into grad but one of the wife's talked me out of it. I was so glad she did. We wanted to be there early and if we would have waited for bus we would not have been front seats. We got in the line of cars to turn right into base about 0630 but noticed that we would have stayed to the left until the next light all the other cars had to merge to the left.
My Sailor was very concerned about being back on base in time. It is a BIG thing if they are not. So we left early and had dinner in the NEX this way he was already there, lots of other familys did the same. Also at the NEX they had the Navy rings if you want to get that. I will let you know when we left the base at 2000 (8:00pm) there was a long line of cars trying to get on base and doors were flying open to those cars with Sailors running up the sidewalk to try to get back in time. I felt for them so please get back early for them. Hope this helps and have a wonderful trip. Deanna

Hearing all the travel I feel kinda guilty I only live 2h away. LOL!
Tho, we're still staying at the Red Carpet Inn tomorrow night so we can wake up 1mi away instead of facing Chicago traffic at 5am!
