I heard a lot of soldiers just want to relax, take a shower by themselves, and catch up on the internet and making phone calls to all their friends/family. I'm sure after that a real meal!!!!!

Hi all -- just booked my hotel room for my nephew's PIR on 3/26. We are all so excited. What do you plan to do to celebrate with your sailor that weekend? I understand that they appreciate a lot of down time when on liberty -- understandable.

hi all,
my brother is ship 6, division 919... and today my sister in law got a thick envelope from Great Lakes... it was mostly lots of spouse info (health insurance, IDs.. etc.) but my brother managed to scribble a sentence on there!! He wrote that he's fine and that he wants lots of letters. We were SOOO happy with just that one sentence.. it made our day :) i can't wait til march 26!
