I am glad you like it!! I hope everyone will enjoy this group! What div is your son in? I found that quote and thought it was perfect because my brother is on ship 09 USS JFK. We are from Hazleton Pa. which is probably about two hours away from you. When did your son leave for GL? Anthony left from MEPS in Harrisburg on the 27th. Did you get a lot of snow?

We are from PA also! He put on the bottom of his letter that my son who is 8 can go to grad but he has to sit on someone's lap. He said that the four on his list which included me, my mom, stepdad, and my other brother will get to go into the drill hall and if there are more they can't go to drill hall but can come to ceremony. Where in pa are you from?

We are debating as well as far as flying or driving. I think we have a ten to eleven hour drive as well. Is Samantha going to a school? We didn't pick a hotel either...there are a lot. We are trying to figure out how many days to reserve the room for.

Oh I am so glad you got your letter!! Anthony wrote on the bottom about graduation and that he could write once a week. He said on the bottom that he thinks he spelled sailor wrong on his address and he did!! He said he hopes to see us at graduation. He didn't say how he was doing....but i guess if he didnt say anything bad that means he is ok!!

Now I 'm trying to decide on Hotel or Suite. So many to choose from and check out. We know we are driving. I think he said 10 hour drive and we are going to try to arrive on Thursday. I have read all this stuff on refundable stuff if something comes up. We pray that don't happen to anyone. That's bout all I know. Anyone found a great place yet.

Hi we got our letter today. It said her date is 03/26/10. Then those few lines saying she is just letting us know she is o.k. The first few days have not been easy considering they have all had only a few hours sleep. Said she was wore out from basically having so much to do. But she was fine. She would write again soon. She loved us all. And get this She told us to hang in there it will fly by. Just seeing her hand writing at the bottom of the page was great. And the last sentence was priceless.
