Got a call from my daughter saying  her flight to Pensacola changed

from Saturday  2am to Sunday. So we get her all day Saturday starting at 8am

and needs to report back to base by 8pm.Ashley also said they will have to be at the airport for 12 hours total, they get there at midnight and take off on Sunday at 12pm...stoked about the extra time!!!

I'm in Chicago right now, man it was hot getting off the plane! Not used to the humidity...but its nice!  Feels so good to be here...and I was really impressed with Southwest, one of my best experiences flying...quick and friendly...

Off to the Shedd Aq tomorrow and then the meet and greet tomorrow nite...and then to see my husband on Friday!! Safe travels everyone!!

uggg my sailor said he has to be back no later then 7:15 or they get time off of liberty the next day.  I think his commander or whatever they are called is really tough.

Laura - my son in 129 said that it's both nights.  None of the divisions made it to the Hall of Fame, but a 900 division made Gold Ribbon (top), and 129 is Blue Ribbon (2nd) for honors.  That's what the extra liberty time is.  They need to be dropped off by 9:30 to make it back to their ship by 10.  Saturday liberty starts at 8:00 a.m.

Yea! Got a call from my sailor and his orders have been changed so that he flies out to San Antonio on Sunday. I am so happy to be able to spend another whole day with him.

My son is in div 129 and I guess that they get an extra hour of liberty. They got a blue ribbon or something? Not sure what he was talking about.... Does anyone know how late he needs to be back? And is it just for Friday or do they get the extra hour on Saturday too?

Just a reminder if you are getting a rental car, don't forget to bring proof of insurance. We were asked that @ the rental agency & were told that it is needed to get on base.

Safe travels everyone!
