For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

at the very top a big JUST KIDDING ..this is my last letter ..(In last weeks letter she had told me it was her last lol) she gave specific directions where she will be, at PIR and how to find her LOL This past Sunday her and 7 others had actually time to go to Church ..she had a chance to check her Navy Fed acct insists that she buys us dinner ! lol (more sobbing) Just found out that there are 20 other Sailors heading to Lackland with her for A School...Has alot to talk to us about and cant wait to see us .....(im now bawling) her last lines

Im going to church now i love you and talk to you soon...

Im a wreck all over again .....sigh ....can i get in line now !!!! for PIR

Comment by ckared716 on April 13, 2011 at 4:03pm: I am landing at 11 at night tomarrow night so I am going to miss the meet and great but will not miss the PIR because I am going to see my SAILOR his dad and I are so excited. We are hoping to spend a little time with him on monday also if he is allowed. He stays at GL but his school will not start til the 25th. We don't fly back home til monday evening.

just got the last letter of bootcamp, and it was awesome - so pumped for Friday!

Comment by navymomship9div137april15 on April 13, 2011 at 3:49pm: I am patiently waiting for my sailor to call me. He is nuke and supposed to call today to tell me if he is flying Sat or Sun. Originally he was told Sat but some have changed and I'm hoping hoping hoping he gets changed too.
