Hi Everybody!

My future sailor left February 16th for bc. I just got his form letter today saying he's in ship 09 division 135. PIR 4/15/2011. I'm so excited and proud of him! The anxious girlfriend that I am, i'm already counting down the days (: Anybody else with loved ones in this division?

Hey everone! I'm aaronsgirl (Emily). I'm friends with Nukegirl2010 who's boyfriend will be graduating on this date. My boyfriend, Aaron, is a Nuke. He graduated Boot camp last March, A school last September, and will graduate Power School this coming April. I'm here to answer any questions anyone has about the PIR experience and/or questions about the Nuke pipeline. :)

I've been through the boot camp experience twice- once with Aaron, once with my brother- so I know the ins and outs pretty well. :)

Woohoooooooo!!!  Got the letter today.  His recruiter sent me his address this afternoon and I immediately sent out the 5 page (3 front/back) running blog, a phone card, and stamps.  The recruiter's address was a little different from the one Daniel sent, so I hope there aren't any problems with receiving it.  He is in DIV 129 and PIR is set at 15 APRIL 11.  Making reservations tonight!  He sounded positive and said they were moving into their barracks the following day, which for him was 18FEB11.  I had to laugh when he said he had never heard so much cussing .... that's a lot coming from him!  I'm ecstatic!!!  Never knew that just a few words could be so great!

I received my letter today with my Sons box! The note on the bottom of the form letter made  feel a little relieved. He said he would be writing soon. It was so good just to see his handwriting : ) Any other parents from Ship 09 Div 136.

Got the formal letter today. Yea!!! My daughter's PIR date is 15 April 2011. I got a little note at the bottom of the formal letter stating she is okay. That made me feel so good.

I agree totally with Lala!  I have seen too many on here who think their sailor is GradNGo and so fly back on Sat...only to find out that they could have had more time with their sailor.  There is lots of sightseeing in that area should your sailor fly out early on Sat and you have some time to fill. If your sailor has the whole weekend, you can sightsee together!
