Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by michele67 on April 12, 2011 at 1:55pm: yeaaaaaaaaaaaa navys mom means ours will be coming pretty soon :) ... omg little whileago I tried to log into here and it said N4M site down for maintenance I wasLike are you kdding me dontyou know us moms are sitting here waiting to see when the calls come in LOLOL @ Jamie ... no logos or any colored stichhing or anything my friends son graduated last fri and they had to take logosoff and she said alot couldnt use theirs because it was not all black everywhere ... just to let you know b4 you buy it i got the logo off shane backpack and then noticed it has dark grey stiching and it wont work so will just buy one when we get there ... I am soooooooooooooo tired LOLOL this has been nerve wracking all night long ....

The backpacks are for them to take their belongings (cell phone, computer, etc.) in when they fly out to their AIT or where ever they may be going...
