Thanks ladies for all the support over these 8 weeks. My daughter will be leaving for Dan Antonio on Sunday, but we will be leaving tomorrow night. So we had a good day. I enjoyed everything about todays PIR graduation!! It was an event in which I will never forget. Spending time with my fiancee was wonderful as well. Thanks to everyone who has helped me with questions over the last couple of weeks. I will be at the airport in the morning to spend some more time with him before he is scheduled to fly out to San Antonio for A School.

Thank you ckared - I am going to the airport to spend some time with him before the flight leaves - so will get to see him and that is the important thing.  Also, his A school is 8 hours away from where we live so I can head down there a time or two!!!  Have a great day tomorrow!!!

Kimcon55 It is a shame that he has to spend all that time at the airport.  I just took my sailor back to the base and the is going to A school here so my husband and I get to pick him up tomorrow and Sunday and then monday we leave back for warmer weather.  My heart is breaking for the moms who have to send their sailors off tomorrow. I feel guilty for the time we get to spend with him knowing what you are going through.

Awesome, it was just awesome!  Spending the day with my new sailor was even more awesome!  He has gone back to base now, and has to be at O'Hare tomorrow at 1AM, for a 5PM flight to Mississippi!!!!

Congratulations to all of you and your Sailors this graduation day.  It is truely an amazing experience.  My son PIR'd last Friday.  Can hardly believe that it is a week ago.  Enjoy the time you have with him/her.
