Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I can't wait to meet all of the new Navy Mom's and Dad's. Good luck to all those recruits who will be facing Battle Stations this week!!! =)

Comment by AuntofJon on April 11, 2010 at 10:34pm: Can't believe it's just 4 more days. I'm so nervous about heading out. I've already have my suitcase packed. I just need to throw in my toothbrush and contacts and I'm on the plane Thursday.
I'm not sure how many divisions are left to complete BS21. If I am correct, we still have 922, 159, 160, 161 and 162 to go. Good luck and my prayers are with all the recruits. I can't wait to hear that my nephew is a Sailor.

I can't concentrate on anything but NAVY stuff. I don't even know how I am going to work this week, lol. My fiance's family and I are leaving Thursday afternoon...and that's all that's on my mind! Butterflies are in my stomach :)

God Bless you and Ship 13 Div 160. I asked for prayer for BS this morning at church. A friend from another church sent me a message and said they were surrounded by prayer.Four days and 18 hours.
