My son is still in Pensacola but got his orders last week and he will be heading to Norfolk as well. Should be sometime in September. He is suppose to be able to come home for a couple weeks before he heads to Norfolk.

My son was home for 10 days and left Sunday 8/15 for Norfolk. Talked to him yesterday and he loves it. He is part of a Squadron (undesignated) he will start training as an AE sometime next week. We are happy that he is in Norfolk as that is only 265 miles away. He is happy that there are several people he knows there. In fact some from his Boot Camp Division. God Bless all. HOOYAH !!

My son is still in A school in GL. He should be there until the end of the year.

My son has been in Groton since he graduated bootcamp! He loves the area! Many of his buddies are married and live in the military housing and it is pretty nice so your son should be happy there. PIR seems so long ago. Good luck to everyone.

My son graduates Corpsman A school tomorrow and will be stationed at Groton, Connecticut. We don't know if he will get to come home or have to report immediately, hopefully we will by the end of the week. He is planning on getting married when he comes home, so as you can imagine, I've been very busy. When I talked to him yesterday, he was looking forward to going to Groton. Good luck to everyone!!!

My son graduated Corpsman A school last week Tuesday and is home now for 2 weeks, and then off to Camp Pendleton. He will be on hold for 51 days and starts FMTB Oct. 13th. It's an exciting time for all us!

my son graduated A school last week and will be home this week for 2 weeks! He then goes to Pendeton until Dec, when he heads to Japan. Full of mixed emotions, that's for sure!

My son is in Groton, Ct for submarine school. He has had one graduation so far and has 3 more phases of school to get through before he will be stationed somewhere else. He won't finish in Groton until sometime in May. Boot camp seems like it was so long ago. He is enjoying Navy life so far.
